Be intentional about staying well hydrated the day of your session as well as the following day. Coming into your session well hydrated and continuing to drink plenty of water afterward is one of the simplest things you can do to support your body through the process.
If possible, plan on taking a casual 10- to 15-minute walk immediately after your session. This isn't meant to be exercise or feel strenuous, just comfortable, natural movement. It help's your body adapt and respond to the session. Outdoors is great, but when weather isn't cooperating, walking around in a nearby store works just fine too.
If possible, avoid intense physical activity, that your body is not used to, for about 48 hours after your session. You don't need to put life on hold or stop doing the activities your body is accustomed to—just take things a little easier.
If you normally exercise, you can continue moving, but consider dialing back the intensity and avoiding higher-impact activities like running during that window. And if you're considering an unusually demanding activity your body isn't accustomed to, whenever possible, wait a couple of days.
